casa de papel, garden pavillion
Our client asked us to design a garden pavilion, but we didn’t want to obstruct the view of the surroundings.
Instead, we created a structure that is subtle and light — almost like an unfolding sheet of paper, framing the landscape.
The roof structure is minimalist and thoughtful, carefully attuned to the existing architecture of the house — a subtle intervention by Low Architecten.
The garden, still under construction, will grow into a lush jungle of plants with more playful elements.
The Portuguese yellow-orange tiles bring a gentle glow, recalling the warmth of endless Mediterranean summer nights.
